Suitable materials ensuring economic efficiency
The quality of the materials used determines the quality of construction, the quality of life and health of the residents.
We share knowledge for the right assessment and selection of building materials and technical components. Also the maintenance and care of the technology will be trained by experts.
We share our Passive House knowledge with suppliers and manufacturers of building materials and offer you support to optimize the products and materials which are to be certified. A certification is issued by the Passive House Institute Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Feist.

Our patents and licenses as well as our ongoing development ensure a successful partnership

Together with our partners we continuously extend Passive House components.
We hold patents and utility models for most important Passive House components for the building envelope, such as windows and doors.
As a licensed partner you can produce these components. Working with experienced partners enables a holistic view of Passive House construction. The ventilation system with at least 75% heat recovery rate plays a central role in the Passive House.

Seminars
Seminars for architects and civil engineers

We offer training programs developed by German experts for architects
We offer from the fundamentals of Passive House construction and special planning features up to quality control our know-how of over 30 years of experience.
Theoretical knowledge and practical application is taught in multi-level seminars. |

Three seminar levels are offered: Basic Seminar A (basic training), Basic Seminar B (advanced seminar), Basic Seminar C (seminar for advanced students). The participants of the Basic Courses A, B, and C will receive a certificate for their successful participation.
A new course called “Training for certified Passive House Designer” is in process. This course concludes with a final examination. The successful completion of the final exam is required to receive a certificate including the permission to use the title and logo “Certified Passive House Designer”. The certificate is issued by the Passive House Institute of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Feist.

Practical training for construction workers

We train construction workers to ensure a proper execution according to planning and design. This is necessary to be ensure that the expected values of a passive house and the qualility in construction are fulfilled.
The training is divided into two fields of knowledge: "building envelope" and "building technology". |

German engineers share their knowledge in dealing with materials and demonstrate the correct use on practical models.
A certificate is issued after 1 week of successful participationin atheory and practice seminar.

We support you during the planning of new buildings and during reconstruction of existing buildings. We would be delighted to recommend certified Passive House architects to you with decades of experience in the Passive House sector.

Building management
Passive Houses are not only very energy efficient, economical and comfortable buildings but also stand for an overall better building quality reducing maintenance efforts and thereby lowering operation costs.
We provide trainings in regards to building administration, documentation of measured values, maintenance and care. This is especially important for the property management and the technical team. All information is based on German experience in building management.
Qualitymanagement
Passive House quality starts with the very first outline and requires consequent building site checks.
We train all involved planners and executive staff to secure building quality. Our training guarantees high quality performance to lower building costs.
We also offer independent quality control and construction supervision performed by dPHt staff under appointed conditions. The work at the building site will be supervised and continuously improved as required.
Upon request, we keep a construction journal to monitor quality for the client. After finalizing the construction work, the building quality will be evaluated and a final report will be issued. Passive Houses, which fulfill the Passive House criteria, may be certified.
Certifications will be issued by the Passive House institution.
